My husband and I went to BOBS for the first time recently and we cannot wait to go back! We ordered the smash pack and popper pack and upgraded one of the sides to get the cheesy bacon jalapeño fries- everything was delicious! Great burgers, tasty fries, and to top it all off we got a scoop of ice cream for dessert, which was also amazing! The service was fantastic; they were very friendly and helpful! If you’re looking for a fresh and tasty burger try BOBS! (Bonus- they have a variety of local items for purchase and they showcase many local/small businesses)

We finally tried the pizza at Bob’s American and oh my goodness — absolutely delicious! My husband literally said, “holy this is actually so good!” We’ve always loved their smash packs and chopped cheeses, and their wings are hands down the best in the area. Our babies are obsessed with their ice cream, and I’m in there regularly for a cold brew (it’s a must!). The employees are always so friendly and helpful — seriously such a great crew. Hands down one of our favorite local spots — they never miss!

Feb 2025 Update. Once again a delicious spur of the moment lunch! I've gotten the really good smashburger, fries and drink every time but wanted to mix it up a little, and the very nice staff woman suggested the chopped cheese. Whoa - SO good!! It will be my new go to until I'm ready to try something new again. My hubby got the smash burger again and said it once again was delicious. I have to mention the fries - they are perfect! Just the perfect crispiness! Thanks everyone at Bob's! ◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇ Bob's was recommended for great burgers - and they weren't kidding! My hubby had the BBQ burger and I had the smashburger. Might have been the best burger I've ever had! The meat was SO flavorful with excellent texture, and all the trimmings were just perfect. We also grabbed a milkshake and singlescoop from the ice cream bar for the road. Excellent ice cream. Can't wait to eat there again!!

Have been meaning to try this place for a while and stopped in today for lunch with my family. I was very surprised at the quality of the food. The service was great, but this was definitely the best hamburger that we have had in the greater Beckley area and I don’t really think that it’s even close.For those of you who liked Chicago hotdogs, they also have best Chicago dog I’ve ever had outside of Chicago (better than some I’ve had in Chicago). If you live near Glade Springs, shady Springs, Flat Top Lake, or even Beckley, drive up and give these people some business. What a great surprise today!!
